The House: Junior High Ministry
(Grades 7-8)
We believe in making young lives count! The house exists to lay a strong foundation for loving God and Loving People while helping students navigate the middle school years.
Over the two years a student attends the House, he or she will experience a wide variety of relationships, activities and events geared for junior high students. Students will learn the bible, engage in worship, serve together and laugh together. Our hope is that they begin and build a relationship with God, other peers and caring adults in a fun, safe, loving, and accepting environment.
The House on Monday Night meets September through May from 7 to 9 p.m. On these nights we participate in fun competitions and group building activities, worship, video, Biblical teaching, and small groups. Come early and hang out in the HeBrews Cafe.
Sunday Mornings provides fun activities and hands-on teaching for students to learn God’s Word and how to use and apply it. They meet in the youth room which is off of the gym at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
Special Events are planned once in a while on a Saturday or over a weekend. These activities include winter retreats, summer camps, service projects, the All-Nighter, water park, Great America, etc.
