Meet MVC Kids
We know that children are important to God and children are important to us. Our ministry is different from childcare, we see it as investing in those little ones who Jesus said represent what our faith should actually look like (Mark 10:13-16). Our children’s ministries are part of a bigger picture, family ministry.
We believe that family ministry begins at birth and never ends. Our ministry vision is empower families and create environments that foster genuine spiritual growth at every stage to raise up a generation that love God, love people and are equipped to serve.
How do we do that? One Life, One God, One step at a Time. It is our privilege to serve parents and their children, as together, we help children form their earliest impressions of a loving God.

Sunday JAM, Jesus and Me (Preschool) 9:30am & 11am
It is never too early to teach children that God loves them. Before your children reach elementary school we want them to know these three truths: Jesus made me, Jesus loves me and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Through sharing Bible stories, worship and creative arts our Sunday morning ministry team lovingly plant the early seeds that will grow into a loving and personal relationship with their heavenly Father. Sunday JAM, In The Attic (Elementary through 6th grade)
Sunday morning In The Attic is about examining scripture true to content and context to discover who God is and how we find our identity in Him. Our focus is on knowing God personally, igniting a passion for Christ, learning to listen to His Spirit, and cultivating a concern for people’s needs in our communities and the world. Through parent resources, we seek to inspire, equip and support parents as the primary nurturers of their children’s faith. Take a look at our TRU philosophy.
Kidz Rock – Wednesday Night Kids Club (Kindergarten – 6th grade)
What does it look like when kids Reach Out for Christ’s Kingdom? Join us Wednesday nights and witness the high octane that comes from knowing what it means to follow Christ. Kids quickly learn that knowing about God and following Christ is Faith Filled Fun. We fuel the night with worship music, games and sport while sharing Biblical truths. We want to show kids that the Bible is the source of wisdom and truth and how they can apply what they learn to their daily lives. It is the perfect night to invite friends and neighbors to join us and see how we can change the world with Christ. Kidz Rock runs September through April from 7pm-830pm. A little bit of your time makes a VERY BIG difference! If you are gifted with being a good listener and a friend to little people, MVC Kids! has a place for you. Come join our team of faithful servants; loving kids and serving an awesome God!
Baby JAM Team (birth to 24 months) - Telling and showing babies that they were perfectly made by a loving God.
Sunday JAM Team (2yrs to Kindergarten) - Sharing with children on how God Made them, God Loves them and Jesus wants to be their Friend forever. We’ll share God’s Word, Praise Him in Song, honor Him with our hands and creativity and learn to love each other.
Sunday JAM in the ATTIC (1st grade to 6th grade) Large Group Leaders - Helping kids form a lifelong relationship with God. Building a strong foundation in biblical knowledge and encountering the living God through study, praise and prayer.
Sunday JAM in the ATTIC (1st grade to 6th grade) Small Group Leaders- Are you a good listener? Do you like to build relationships that can impact a child’s life and the world around them? We break into small groups to discuss how God’s Truth is for daily living—helping children interpret their lives through the lens of God’s character and will.
Administrative Help (weekdays or weeknights) -We are looking for people to help with administrative tasks any time and any day. You’ll help out planning and preparing for our Sunday and weekday programs.
KidzRock (Wednesday Nights 7pm-830pm) - Leaders are needed as we Reach Out for Christ’s Kingdom. All ages. A high energy, fun filled evening sharing God’s big story and helping kids discover the active part they can play in this life long adventure to be more like Him.
