Leadership Resources International (LRI)
If you have a desire to get involved in missions work, enjoy working behind the scenes in an office setting, love connecting with people and have administrative/office skills, this may be a great place to start. Leadership Resources, a local ministry in Palos Heights, has a need for additional volunteer support staff for their growing training ministry. LRI is involved in providing training for national pastors around the world and Bible conferences in local churches here in the US. Homes for the Homeless
Join a team of people with willing hearts and hands, working together to build homes for the homeless in Reynosa, MX. These small homes, the size of a one car garage, provide stability and a new outlook on life. Providing the security needed to leave belongings locked up and protected, people are free to go and get work. These trips are planned twice a year, once in the spring, around Easter and once at Christmas (12/26 – 12/31). Contact Dave or Karen Bosi through the church office (708) 389-1268
Blankets Needed...If you knit, crochet or fleece tie, blankets will be needed for the December Homes for the Homeless trip. Completed ones can be brought to the Church Office. The deadline is December 10th.
