Children are precious to us at Moraine Valley Church. We have a strong team of loving and dedicated leaders whose goals are to help children build a strong foundation in faith and grow in their spiritual walk every Sunday morning and throughout the week. What procedures do you have in place to ensure the safety of my children?
Our purpose is to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ. All of our classrooms in Moraine Valley Church are staffed with volunteers who have committed their lives to Christ and who model the mission of Moraine Valley Church. Each volunteer has undergone a thorough screening process.
Your child's safety is very important to us. Each child in Moraine Valley’s Early Childhood Division is assigned an identification number, and you are given a card with that number on it. If we need you during the Worship Experience, your child's identification number will be clearly displayed on the monitors located above the exits on either side of the stage. When picking up your child from the classroom, you will need to present your identification card in order for us to release your child to you.
SUNDAY MORNING CHILDREN
During the 9:30 A.M. Worship Service, the following are offered:
THE NURSERY — Nursery workers provide loving care and nurture in a secure environment as they meet the physical needs of the youngest of our children.

EARLY CHILDHOOD — Workers help the children begin to establish a growing understanding of God, His love for them, and how Jesus wants them to relate to others.

SALVATION STATION — This is our worship service for children in grades 1-4. The goal of Salvation Station is to teach children to worship the Lord with others.
During the 11:00 A.M. Equip Hour, the following are offered:
- 1st and 2nd Graders meet in room 109
- 3rd, 5th and 6th Graders meet in room 202
- 4th Graders meet in room 118 (locker room)
KID ZONE CLUBS
Wednesday Evenings
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm from September - April
The starting date for this ministry year is Wednesday, September 16th.
This is an entry level exposure to the truths of Scripture which are shared through games, memory verses, large group messages, and small group talk. Children are encouraged to bring their friends to hear the message of Jesus' love.
Kids for Christ: Boys and Girls, kindergarten - 2nd grade
Friends: Girls, grades 3 - 4
Crew: Boys, grades 3 - 4
Bunch: Girls, grades 5 - 6
Blasters: Boys, grades 5 - 6
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation Bible School is an action packed, one week, program for kids Kindergarten-6th grade held every summer. Every morning we reach over 100 kids a day teaching them about the love of Jesus. It culminates with a closing program on Friday night.
MVC KID'S CHOIRS
The MVC Kid's Choir meets on Mondays at 4:30 p.m.
Kids grades 2-8 are welcome to join us as we “dive” into God’s world and Word and look deeper, under the water. The kids learn through singing the music, memorizing Bible verses how God reveals Himself to His children through creation, His Word, and a life changed by Christ.
Rehearsals for “UNDER GOD’S SEA IN 3D” begin Monday, August 30, at 4:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.
The presentation will be Sunday, Oct 24th, at 6:00 p.m.
