The purpose of our ministry is to help woman grow in knowledge that she belongs to Christ and His family, she is growing to become all that He has created her to be and to have her life overflow to bless others. Every woman has a role and a special purpose that God has designed for her, and it is our hope that through our various growth, service, and leadership opportunities, you can grow into the woman that God has intended you to become.
Some of the opportunities to connect with other women at Moraine happen at the following:
WOMEN'S MINISTRIES
Tuesdays from 9:15 to 11:30 am in the Atrium
September 16 through May
Do you ever feel like you're "Swimming Upstream"?
Today's culture can be overwhelming. Trying to live Biblically in an immoral society can seem impossible.
- How can we learn to apply Biblical truth in a culture of error?
- How can we recognize the lies of our culture that can subtly define us?
- How can we learn to live triumphantly with one another while growing in relationships?
- How can we face the trials of our lives while recognizing God's Presence in the midst?
These are just a sample of the subjects we will be discussing over coffee, tea, and snacks every Tuesday morning (Childcare is provided at no charge).
Come join a group of caring, loving, and open Christian women as we grow in our faith and help each other learn how to "Swim Upstream" in today's world.

Observe, Interpret, Apply the Word of God - 2nd Samuel, "The Life of David"
Have you ever wondered if God really keeps His promises? God told David He would make him king over Israel. David waited and waited on that promise to be fulfilled amid many threats to his life by King Saul. As we approach the Precept Study of 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles this fall, we will see if God indeed keeps His promise to David. As we watch the story of David's life unfold, we will see God's plan also unfold and that the passing of time does not hinder the fulfillment of the promises of God. David's ascent to the throne is an exciting real-life drama that we will experience as we turn the pages of Scripture and take in its people, places, plots, and principles and observe how it impacts our own life experiences.
We invite you to join Precepts this fall. Journey with us as we learn to walk with God more powerfully and victoriously. It will transform your life and also the life of others around you! Each time we meet there will be a time for fellowship, prayer, lecture/discussion, and an insightful teaching from Kay Arthur of Precepts Ministries International.

Walk along with a small group of women who, together, will enjoy a contagious time of seeking Him for a personal heart revival.
In this 12-week small group study, Seeking Him, written by Nancy Leigh DeMoss, we will grow together in deepening our relationship with the Lord as we experience a dynamic, intimate walk with Him. Sisters, this will be a challenging and thought-provoking time together.
This is your personal invitation to experience God through interacting with His Word and with other women on the journey.
Hearts and Hands Gather meets at 7:00 pm the third Tuesday of every month.

Book Club
Growing Together...Learning Together...Reading Together...Connecting...
You are invited to join our new Women's Ministry Book Club featuring: The Papa Prayer by Larry Crabb. Like millians of Christians, Dr. Larry Crabb has always considered his prayer life a weekness; dull, crisis-driven and mostly lifeless. But something new happened when he began practicing the four steps of what he calls the PAPA prayer - a relational, conversational approach to talking with and enjoying God!
The cost is $11 which includes the book.
We will be meeting every other Wednesday night beginning September 24th at 7 pm (dates are Sept. 24, Oct. 1, Oct. 22, Nov. 5, Nov. 19 and Dec. 3). What a great opportunity for moms who drop off their children at Kid’s Zone. Grab a latte at the café and be ready to glean from God's Word. Register on Sunday at the Connecting Hub or click here to email the church office.
