Monday Night Bible Study – Every other Monday evening 7:00-9:00 pm. Our Bible studies offer foundational and practical ways to know God deeper, walk in His ways, and connect with other women.
Tuesday Morning Coffee Break - Join us every Tuesday morning 9:30 – 11:30 am. An energetic and refreshing time of worship, prayer, Bible teaching and discussions.

Welcome to Coffee Break, where you can enjoy refreshments, connect with other women and grow in your relationship with God. Experience the joy of worship as well as solid Bible teaching and stimulating discussion every Tuesday morning. This year we will focus on the cost of following Jesus as a true disciple of His. Come and experience the challenge of a deeper walk with Christ.

Wednesday Night Book Club – Every other Wednesday evening 7:00 – 8:30 pm we will be participating in discussions regarding the authors of stimulating and thought-provoking books. This is a time to encourage our faith, face our doubts and grow deeper in our relationship with God and people.

In the “Emotionally Healthy Woman” Geri Scazzero provides you a way out of an inauthentic, superficial spirituality to genuine freedom in Christ. This book is for every woman who thinks, “I can’t keep pretending everything is fine!” The journey to emotional health begins by quitting. When you quit for the right reasons, at the right time, and in the right way, you’re on the path not only to emotional health but also to the true purpose of your life. Cost of the book is $13.

Thursday Morning Precepts – We will meet every Thursday morning, 9:00 – 11:30 am. We will explore the Scriptures inductively in order to be established in the Word of God and grow in our reverence for Him.
Jesus promised His disciples that they would take the gospel to the remotest parts of the earth. We invite you to come with us and observe Paul’s transformation from persecutor of the church to preacher. Join him on his journeys across the Roman world to proclaim the saving message of Jesus to the Jews and Gentiles. Learn how to wittiness and how to live an authentic Christian life in all circumstances in the power of the Holy Spirit. Learn to be like Paul, to be bold in proclaiming the name of Jesus and to trust our sovereign Lord who enables us to endure persecution and suffering at the hands of those who hate Jesus.....and therefore , hate us.
Come walk the walk of faith with us; as we love to encourage each other to apply and to stand boldly on the Word of God Precept upon Precept. We will begin our fall session Sept 7, with a break for the holidays after class Nov. 16th continuing study Jan. 4th 2018. Workbook cost is $23.00. Which will also include great food, fun loving fellowship, and Kay Authur’s DVD teaching every other week. Workbooks can be purchased the first day of class Sept.7, which will include and overview of the workbook. You do not need to have done Acts Part 1 to join us. All are welcome no matter where you are in you journey with our Lord. He will meet with you right where you are.
Christmas Tea – Our annual Christmas Tea is an outreach event which welcomes family, friends, neighbors and co-workers of those who attend Moraine Valley Church. This exquisite evening features the beauty of the Christmas season while enjoying dining and presentation of our speaker.
Our Ladies’ Christmas Tea will be Tuesday, November 28th, at 6:00 PM at Gaelic Park in Oak Forest. Our theme this year is “A Night of Noel” with our speaker, Maggie Rowe. Table hostess reservations will begin on Sunday, September 10th in the Atrium. This event usually fills up quickly so if you want to be a table hostess or want more information about how to be a table hostess, stop and visit the table on Sunday, September 10th.
